An okay deal if you buy a few packs. Many local card shops have booster boxes (36 packs) for $100 or less.

This is a poor deal no matter how you slice it.

Tales of Middle Earth set booster boxes are down to $150 for $30 packs, which is $5/ea. and they want $9.99 which even after the deal is $6.40'ish a pack.

The best deals are at GameNerdz. So unless you are just dying to snag something or have a store credit; avoid.

Not necessarily.

The obsidian flames boosters come out to $3/ea after the B2G1 (effectively a booster box for $108). Gamenerdz has theirs for $110 right now.

If you're someone who can't afford to drop a hundo on 36 packs, $3/ea is a nice entry point to grab just a few, supposing you can pick it up locally.
