I bought this computer 2 months ago for $1599 and so far it fits all my needs. Very quiet with the liquid cool and never overheats even playing high intensive games or running plenty of programs at the same time. It's 650 w power supply. The only thing to note is that you need to install Microsoft store manually through Xbox app as it didn't come with it, and then install all the other windows essential like notepad, calculator, snip it, etc. would def buy it again especially $100 less now.

Well, it is a gaming rig, so the 4070 would not be overkill for that purpose. If you want to just poke around the net, then yeah, the whole thing is an overkill. For gaming, it seems to check all the boxes (for me anyway). I've built dozens of systems, but just tire of messing with it. And, there is the Costco warranty match, so it has a 2-year warranty. 90 day no hassle return. Good stuff.

Not sure if it is a big deal but someone commented that it has only 1 M2 slot which is used by the boot drive.

Good call. That said I am out of the loop on building; if one had a few SATA drives, are their headers on the board for that? What about excess power connectors (PSU)?

Pretty easy to add another via a cheap PCI-E card, no?

Nothing proprietary on this from MSI I assume? Need a gaming capable unit for my son this year.

Thanks

Worse deal. $100 savings for a worse graphics card and lack of liquid cooling isn't worth it.

I hope this helps,

Found this at Best Buy that looks like an excellent deal, how wide is the gap between 4060ti and 4070?

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/cybe...Id=6564405

Would still prefer to buy from Costco though

4060 Ti is 25-40% slower.

Is this good for mining?
Depends what you're mining… if you're trying to mine fartzcoin or some other bs crypto then sure. For Bitcoin and ether you would need a mining rig the size of your bedroom/apartment. Electricity cost may be a deal breaker however.

That's tough right, less power on the GPU, but CyberPower has faster RAM, slightly better processor, 2tb ssd vs 1tb, but it is best buy and not costco, also unfamiliar with cyberpower. Looks like both are liquid cooled

How does it compare to the $1222
Legion T5 Gen 8 Desktop: Ryzen 7 7700, 16GB DDR5, 512GB SSD, RTX 4070 ???

Intel i7-13700f vs Ryzen 7 7700 ~ $60 more
16GB more memor (DDR5) _____~ $50 more
512GB more M2 storage_______~$30 more
2TB HDD_________________. ~$60 more
liquid cooling_________________~$50 more ?

cost around $250 more in terms of parts, so price wise fair game?
of course Costco is a better seller and I assume MSI has better (and more generic) parts?
