The free set of tools isn't a lot but it's a decent list. If you don't already have the tire inflator, I suggest you get that separately as it's 50 bucks by itself right now.

The free set of tools isn't a lot but it's a decent list. If you don't already have the tire inflator, I suggest you get that separately as it's 50 bucks by itself right now.

This is exactly the same as when they did the 3ah, 6ah, 9ah battery deal a couple years ago. I stocked up then but am fighting the urge to grab some of these too.

Damn I already have a lot of batteries and trying to stop the urge to get this with either the 8ah battery or blower. I wonder if they would still let me hack it so I can only get the blower/8ah battery.

I only DYI, but collecting tools is a bad habit. Only got 4x2ah, 2x4ah max, 2x3ah octane, 2x6ah max, 1x6ah octane and a 9ah octane? can't never have enough?

I have seen many posts $10 per AH is a good price for battery and I am tempted to get the 8ah for $81.

It's literally showing the hacked price in cart. I think you can still do it. The 8ah by itself would be $81.xx.

That was the deal price point for the regular batteries. Probably even better deal talking about the max outputs.

I only mentioned because last hack deal I tried to do the worker at HD almost didn't let me return one of the items. Also some others have reported similar experiences so I'm not sure if HD is catching up to this and preventing it.

I am pretty sure you can still ship the tool you don't want to the store and not pick it up, and pick up the batteries today.

Is that subcompact impact good? Already have the full size impact, but have had instances where it wouldn't fit, like for brake caliper mounting bolts.

How's the blower?

I already have a battery and I just DIY, so I was trying to do the hack. But is this actually a good deal even with the batteries?
