Not sure about instacart but walmart+ isn't great at all. Any delivery below $35 isn't free and then you've to tip the rider too. What are you paying the membership for ?
More I have tried other apps, I realize how good Amazon prime is

Walmart+ has free shipping with no minimum on shippable items (same as Amazon), but grocery delivery requires a $35 order to be free.

Amazon Prime has a $100 minimum for their grocery delivery (Fresh) and has the same tipping option as Walmart.

Grocery delivery may be that way but I place MANY MANY MANY orders using Walmart+ with NO purchase minimum and my items are delivered free within a day or so.

It's weird because you can actually get really good deals this way, too. Like things that are locally marked down but show up on the website at a higher price. Those Pokemon cards for Halloween are a good example, they're like 1/3 the price they were a week ago.

Walmart now imposes a $6.99 fee for grocery pickups, including items like milk, if you're order is under $35 tho you have a Plus membership, which was not the previous policy. In contrast, Target offers free pickup with no minimum purchase requirement and no membership needed. I am for sure won't be renewing my Walmart Plus membership.

some could be, but most of the daily need items are priced above then stores, that discounts you wil see thru instacart not from costco, if you see some thing in discount online after few days they will enable in stores too

Same. Walmart Plus is objectively NOT a bad membership for those who shops there for non-grocery purchase. It has saved me numerous time from in person pick up and making returns which inevitably has customers waiting in line.

Skipping the line is rather worth paying for. The app itself even tells you how much time and $ you actually saved. The math does not lie.

It's only worth it when they have coupon codes for $25 of $75 or something similar and you can kind of game the system by buying stuff you know is most likely out of stock or is only at a few stores and if items get refunded you'll still save $25 even if total is only $25. I do the same for doordash groceries, as well!
