I have a 4D massage chair at home due to my back pain. I would avoid this massage bed. It does not look too promising and functions will be limited. I think the majority massage of this bed is the compression. If you just want compression, there are many tools that does that, but not a bed though. For a really good massage, I would recommend Theragun which can really pin point the sore/ache spot. You can get it while it's one sale and the effectiveness is much greater than this massage bed. I got Theragun pro 4th gen for $360.

Show us the video link 😄. I know you're dying to.
I don't have a video handy, but there are a million options on Amazon and eBay for $20 or less. One example: https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Attachment-Percussion-Massager-Relaxation/dp/B083M1GKMB/ref=sr_1_1_... [amazon.com]

I've used something like that with an 18v cordless jigsaw, and it hits about a thousand times harder than the $30-$40 generic massagers on Amazon.

So many posts and not one noticed that clearance price quoted on the site is higher than the regular price? The regular price is 2999 but clearance price is 3999. SDers are losing their sharpness!!

I'm not suggesting this is good or anything, but you seem to be neglecting the "- $2700" part of OP.

Important critical consideration: at what lbs of pressure does it stall out? I think there are a number of decent ones now rather than just BS Chinese vowel names at warehouse stores but I got a theragun with professional discount at start of Covid. I've liked it, has not fixed me but comes in handy for me and wife.
I have had similar experiences with the early cheaper models; till I got the TaoTronics version with a much higher stall rating this year. Amazon used to carry them. Recently bought another off Ebay. Sounds like a shill post but it's not; I have a MUCH harder time stalling this one than my previous couple of units (gave them away), and recently compared it to a brother's gen 2 Theragun favorably, digging both into my thigh to try and stop them. You're correct that here are a few cheapos out these days that are stronger than others.

I can't for the life of me see the reason for buying this over something like this: https://www.costco.com/best-massa...73007.html [costco.com]

Yeah I know the chair is more expensive but you get so much more for it. Who is taking up a whole spare room for a bed that only does a little bit of compression and a lower back air bag lift?
You're corrrect. The L-track chairs do much more!. That being said, I had one of those Costco Best Massage chairs just like that; sold it and bought the Human Touch Novo XT it replicates (after I found a half-price deal of course; they're pretty pricey!).
Depends on how big or tall you are. I owned that first one, used it a couple of years, and then ran into a Costco demo on the Novo. It's literally about 20% roomier-feeling for taller folks. This stuff is all made in China but those Best Massage ones are made for smaller people. At least the one I had was..

Have you used that? Digging in? I've been curious but (A) my M18 jigsaw isn't anywhere NEAR as quiet as my Taotronics and (B) I've put that and the Theragun through some pretty rigorous stall tests; I kinda figured one of those adapters would just break at the blade part, especially with a little side torsion (like trying to dig into the lower back). Have you used one much?

My own 2¢ on this:

I've owned a fairly cheap one from Costco, it was OK, but was recalled due to fire risk when charging or something...

Bought a cheaper (even cheaper than the Costco one) one from Meh. Got a replacement within the 90 day window. Honestly, it was probably worth the $30 we spent on it because I can lend it out to people without worrying about breaking it or missing it.

I also own an Ekrin B37S based on the MGF review of it. Had it since Jan 2021. Paid $7 less than what they're going for on Amazon now.

https://massagegunfight.com/ekrin-b37s-review/

My wife uses it daily. I use it... as needed (so maybe once every week or two.)

To answer your question: the stall force (55lbs for the B37s) is absolutely the difference maker. I am literally inflicting pain on either myself or my wife LONG before I hit that stall point. That is not the case at all with any of the cheap ones. Plus, durability...

So yeah, $250ish is a LOT to spend on a massage gun, but for me (and for my cheapskate wife) we'd buy another one tomorrow if we had to (which would most likely require us to lose it because, in theory, it has a Lifetime warranty on it.)

But if money was tight, I'd probably consider something like an open-box Ekrin B37 for $115.

With that said, a Theragun certainly isn't a horrible choice. In fact, in one area where it definitely shines is the amplitude. My Ekrin "only" has an 8mm amplitude, whereas the Theragun Elite has a 16mm amplitude. *For us* this hasn't been a huge deal, but it does make a difference for sure.
I had to Google that phrase! The cheaper ones refer to that as "stroke length". My two currrent cheapos are at 45lbs and 12mm; not the worst and not the best. But also under $50/ea; one for home and one for office.

I have a similar set, I think I spent like $12 on eBay back in 2020 or so.

I've used a corded Ryobi and cordless Ridgid jigsaw. The downsides are:
1. They are loud (as you said)
2. They are relatively heavy.
3. It's very easy to get to too much power.

Any of these may be deal breakers, but I'm a pretty big guy, and I don't like the feel of the cheapo guns. The higher end guns are clearly better.

I haven't done any real testing, but it hasn't felt like the adapter is close to breaking.

Thanks for the feedback! Good to know. I may try one for comparisons.

Theraguns are WAY overpriced. They just look cool, you can find massage guns for around $100 that are the same as theraguns without looking as fancy/modern. Costco usually has one or two at all times for cheap.

I searched something completely unrelated to this on Amazon earlier and this exact item popped up instead. It was weird. Someone is paying big bucks to put this thing in front of a lot of eyes.
