One thing to note, it is likely you can already control your PS5's fast forward, pause, etc. functions by just using your TV's remote. Make sure your TV & PS5 both have CEC turned on and that allows your one remote to control the PS5. 95% of people out there don't need another separate remote just for the PS5.

CEC sucks if you have multiple devices though. Turn on TV and all of a sudden my PS5 turns on and steals the input. Turn on blu-ray player and same deal, PS5 turns on. I know there are settings to disable input stealing, but the whole experience is still inconsistent since you never know what will turn on in the background.

I miss Harmony remotes.

I bought this.

I signed up for adorama camera and they gave me $5 points in my account because I have never purchased from them before I guess.

So total was like $11 and change after shipping after I redeemed the points

Maybe someone else can get this to work

I've been tempted to pick up this remote for when watching movies on disk. I've heard mixed reviews about the functionality of the purpose.

I've bought console remotes before... trying to avoid with PS4 and PS5. I do watch disc-based movies on them, but using the game remote works fine once you know what to press.

But it takes batterie life aways from the controller plus this is much easier to use and the price is low

It does not look any different than the original Sony remote. For the price I paid I can't imagine it being bad at all.

Decent remote. I use it for all the streaming services. Easier to just use this than turn on the ps5 controller.

Batteries last a long time too. I think it's been a year and I use my ps5 every day.
