Any clue why it's already selling on woot? My guess is it doesn't support Google's upcoming find my device service, and Samsung is attempting to get a bunch sold before Google launches the new service? Anyone know?

Do you need a service provider subscription? Like I remember Samsung smart tags 5-6yrs before needed LTE service with AT&T or T-Mobile for $5 every month or something like that

I have 4 tags, I don't pay a dime. I misplaced my keys daily, it's game for me at this point . I'm looking to get these newer one's but I won't download an app for the deal

Worked great for me.. impressed with it actually that it has added functions to map the button for whatever you'd like (ie scenes , routines etc) and ring your phone too.

Is this any better than version 1? I'm assuming Samsung users have to opt in to allow their phones to be used as a connection point. iPhones are already opted in which is why I used airtag on my dog. I used 4 smarttags version 1 for traveling in Japan. Our bags were stuck due to a Strom and the version 1 gave really late updates.
