EDIT: I see now that's 120 watts for DC 12v charging... not 120 volts AC

RYi150C is the one to get. It was released for $129 and is now $79, so not bad.. but waiting for a better deal I think.

I swear I saw it for $90 on sale yesterday (listed regular price $129) online. Anyone else know if $129 was the original price?

Got one to use with a socket powered tire inflator to not gave to mess with cords any longer. Not sure what the deal is, but the compressor absolutely does not fire at full wattage and struggles to fill when compared to the car DC outlet. I don't have any other car DC outlet items, so it may be my compressor specifically, but want to throw it out there for anyone with a similar use case.

You can hack the 18v 2 in 1 inflator for about $40. Basically, cut out the middle man.

It allows you to preset the desired pressure. Inflating pool floats and air beds is nice too.

I would love to have something like this for my sump pump. Anyone try that as a backup when the power is down. Just wonder if a sump pump is too much draw.

Sump pump and other inductive loads (like pumps/motors) would not be suited at all for this small inverter.

Oooh model with an extra 12v port instead of AC.

Could be handy for some light duty stuff like 12v emergency lighting or things in the van ... but then I typically have an abundance of flashlights with 12v and 18v batteries around too. Not going to bite at the price, but tempting.

Am I correct in assuming that this will be much more efficient than an AC inverter, even though there is a physical output change happening from the battery terminals to a 12v cigarette adapter port, because it is DC to DC power?

Most DC to AC inverters are only around 85% efficient, but this shouldn't have any efficiency loss if my assumptions are correct.

I have this and it works well for its intended purpose. I use it to run my portable fridge for a few hours off my Ryobi and Ridgid batteries (with adapter). I also use the 12v port to "recharge" my EcoFlow power station from my tool batteries while camping.
