I already own the Harbor Freight set, which is fine. However, if I didn't, I'd be all over this deal. Seems like a very nice set.

Are you referring to the typical smaller strike out price on the upper right corner? This is typically around $140 I believe (you can also see that when selecting 86-piece version.

This is a good price for the whole set - metric and saw; deeps and shallows. Engraved and ink filled, not simple laser etched. Nice case makes it easy to grab and go. If you have a tool chest you may want rails but overall, this is a good deal.

I started with Harbor Freight sets and still have them but also have these Milwaukee deep sockets that I got from a different deal; I can tell you from my experience that these are much much better in quality, finish, laser etched and inked which will last a while, they also grip the nuts very well.

I am looking to replace all my harbor freight impact and regular CRV sockets with Milwaukee ones as they show up here on Slickdeals Wink

I have a couple sets of the 3/8 deep impact sockets from Milwaukee and they seem to be pretty decent. I haven't really put them to work yet, they just ride around with me at the ready for repair work but as far as the fit and finish goes they look really decent.

I paid $130 + paid shipping for this 2 years ago (needed in a pinch). $99 is a great deal for it overall. Even if it is cheaper around xmas time, there's no guarantee that it will for sure come up and it's just a few $ cheaper.

That's what the little adapter on the far left of the pic is for. Your driver may not be powerful enough for some of the nuts and bolts you want to remove, but, depending on the driver, you might be surprised at what it can do.
