For those new to fixing cars, please buy some jack stands too and rest the car on it after jacking it up. Then use the car jack as the backup support. Also slip a tire underneath the side of the car for extra support. One more thing, I also recommend wheel chocks to block off the wheels so it doesn't roll. Safety first. 👍
This looks like it might be the same as the aluminum Arcan jacks sold by Costco.

If so, it is a pretty good jack and the lighter weight is nice. Fits low cars well, but max extension is shorter than some models so probably not great for your lifted overlanding 4Runner

Not worth saving $20 vs that cheaper husky.
for a 3 ton aluminum, that is fairly normal

ill take it over my 94lb daytona 3 ton anyday

How does this compare to the cheaper model here for general, once-in-a-while use? https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky.../204617108

This look like a almost exact copy of the Duralast one. i think its 129 on sale, yes it is a 1/2 ton difference. If you buy this make sure all the bolts are tight before you use it and I put lock tight on almost all of them cause they keep backing out.

Not sure you will get much lower for a 3 ton. I have a similar aluminum Arcan 3 ton and it's 60lbs. All steel ones in similar capacity are close to 100 lbs.

Yeah this is 58.8lbs and HD all steel is 62lbs. You are saving less than four pounds to pay $20 more than the all steel.

The Daytona 3 ton jack is serviceable unlike this Husky one. I got the Daytona 3 ton jack last week for slightly less than this with a 25% off coupon. Yes, this Husky is portable and the only good thing about it.

Aluminum is better to move around which is usually close to 200ish. So its a good deal, i have 3ton from Harbor which is heavy to move but it works for lifting my SUV

Are they still passing out 25% coupons? Haven't got one in a long time

yes, i just got the email literally yesterday. Just make sure you're on their email subscription list. It can get annoying with the daily emails but they do send coupons quite often.

At Harbor Freight, they still are. Heck, this 2-ton is $40 before coupon. I don't think Husky has been making jacks that long so not sure we can judge their pricing over more than a year or so.

Yes. Floor jacks prices have more than doubled after COVID
