I want to buy a 3-ton from COSTCO but Arcan jack is OOS. Arcan 3 ton jack and Husky 3 ton looks similar in specs and end up buying Husky.

Lifting range from 4 in. to 18-1/2.
Rubber padded saddle for added protection

Dual-piston pump for faster lifting

Yep. Bought one few days ago. Looks like Home Depot one is about 20lbs lighter.

Costco Arcan is nice but man, it is really heavy. I hope one doesn't need to lift it to take it to places.

The 18.5 maximum lifting height could be an issue if in future you need to work on a big project under, like swapping transmission. You could get it around using some adapters or 2x4 although it's not the safest option. Just a reminder.

Seeing some reviewers complaint about the weight of this unit being not much better than a comparable steel jack. Can any owner chime in?

This Husky Jack is a hybrid. So it's a mix of steel and aluminum. It's 58 pounds. An all steel jack is usually 80-100 pounds so it's a nice weight savings.

The Arcan All-steel jack that is available in select Costco stores weighs 20 pounds more than their hybid version. 58 pounds to 78 pounds.
