Added the MX Master 3S, free mouse case, and free desk mat for a total of $160, which is a solid $40 less than most retail locations without the freebies.

I've been very happy with my K800, but after 10 years, it's getting more and more difficult to source, so I'm hopping this will make for a suitable replacement as a backlit keyboard.

Seriously the best keyboard ever. I used to buy the $10-20 ones from Anker or whatever other Chinese brands. After they bust, decided to buy quality and not turning back. Really glad I got this

Ok, so this is the new Model S. This model allows you to customize how long the backlight can stay on for (up to 30 mins?). This is the main upgrade feature over the previous version where you the light would only stay on for like 5 seconds or so (very annoying). The fact that Logitech came out with this feature on this keyboard tells me that this is a firmware issue and not a software issue on the regular keyboard.

Coming from previous MX Keys, can't believe they actually released a new hardware version to finally let you disable auto backlit or change the duration of backlit.

Backlight turns off until you place them over keyboard (which was very, very finicky when I used it) or press a key. I returned it because the keys were never on when I need to look and see them, terrible decision for them not to be always on.

edit: apparently this is a newer version where you can have backlight on for up to 30 minutes

The S Model is basically the same as the MX Keys for Business. Some of the keys are different (like the emoji key that wasn't on the original). But the biggest difference is that the S model and the Business model use the newer Bolt Receiver, where the original used Logitech's unifying receiver.

once you use it you cannot go back to another keyboard. Have been using it for years now, helped me get rid of fatigue from typing all day

Ooh really? I hated the other version because the backlight would always turn off quick and it never, every sensed my hands correctly to kick the backlight on. I might have to get this if I can keep the back light on

i have mx keys mini for business. love it. Paired with mx anywhere 3s mouse. I use the logi+ software with flow and move between my desktop and laptop flawlessly. The keyboard pairs with 3 devices and switches with tap of button. So basically move my mouse cursor to laptop and tap button on keyboard and im now working on my laptop

I have the OG model and the Business model. You hover your hands over the keyboard and the backlight comes on, no hunt pecking to activate. This keyboard sits at my office and home office. Tempted to get my wife this one. She is really liking the MX2S I gave her to test drive. Yes they are pricy, but you'll not need another mouse and keyboard again...
