This is a steal. Salt & Sanctuary is hands down my favorite Soulslike Metroidvania (even more so than Hollow Knight which is also excellent); this plays like a 2D Dark Souls. I have picked it up and beat it now on 3 platforms (Vita, Switch, & Steam Deck) - perfect for on the go. If there are any Vita owners still out there, I think this is a cross buy (meaning you get it for both).

The sequel diverged a bit in terms of genre, but is also worth a go.

Not on sale on steam (as yet), but they do have a new game coming out next month called Salt and Sacrifice. I haven't played this one as yet... ben on my to-play list... but 16k+ "very positive" reviews on Steam. Less than a dollar is a no brainer.

Ive restarted this game a few times on PC. I like it but wondering if Id be better of playing this on the couch. Definitely enjoyed Ori more that way. This should be looked at as a Metroidvania game, btw. Like Dark Souls but not the same.

VERY good game!!

Salt and Sacrifice is also half off ($9.98). It's the sequel although I heard it's not that great as they introduced monster hunter style aspect to it. I'm going to give it a go because they also added coop and I just finished Elden Ring and a buddy of mine and I need something else to play.
