That's not entirely correct. "Meteor Lake" on desktop (or what is supposed to be the desktop variant/launch) is a refresh of Raptor Lake. The mobile variant (it is ONLY on mobile) of Meteor Lake is going to be different and more interesting of the two.

tried the 64gb/2tb version - lots of sleep BSODs and the battery life is atrocious (like under an hour)

Nice laptop, like the aesthetics, most "gamer" laptops give me pre-HIV just looking at them but this is really nice. If it had an AMD 7x45hx I'd jump on it.
