    • Super Meat Boy Forever takes place a few years after the events of Super Meat Boy. Meat Boy and Bandage Girl have been living a happy life free of Dr. Fetus for several years and they now have a wonderful little baby named Nugget. Nugget is joy personified and she is everything to Meat Boy and Bandage Girl. One day while our heroes were on a picnic, Dr. Fetus snuck up on them, beat Meat Boy and Bandage Girl unconscious with a shovel and kidnapped Nugget! When our heroes came to and found that Nugget was missing, they knew who to go after. They cracked their knuckles and decided to never stop until they got Nugget back and taught Dr. Fetus a very important lesson. A lesson that can only be taught with punches and kicks.

Not a great game compared to the original. This game is significantly easier than the first game to the point where it ruins the fun. It's very clear that Edmund McMillen was not involved in development and that's pretty sad since the original game was such a passion project for him. Watch the movie Indie Game Movie which spends 1/3 of the movie focusing on the development of Super Meat Boy to get a peek of the behind the scenes process to release that game. I'm also glad he left to do his own work since obviously Bind of Isaac etc were also fantastic so there's a silver lining there.

For $2 I guess you can't go wrong, but if you were a big fan of the first game this one will disappoint you.

edit: I completely forgot it was a runner game. That just shows how little time I spent with it since it was so disappointing. Just buy the original!!!!

I posted this last time a deal on Super Meat Boy Forever came up, and I think it bears repeating.

This game is nothing like Super Meat Boy.

I'm not saying it's bad, it might be fine for what it is. But you cannot go into it thinking about how much you loved Super Meat Boy and that you want to play more of it. It has nothing to do with Super Meat Boy. This is an endless runner type game. Really not my cup of tea, and especially since I hadn't read anything about it when I bought it and assumed I was getting a Super Meat Boy game that played like the first one.

If you like endless runners, give this a try. $2 isn't much risked. But seriously, if you just loved Super Meat Boy and want more of that, don't bother. This will just make you angry.

Actually had alot more depth than i expected out of an autorunner. The first is a 10, this is like a 7. Or less but it's decent.

Played for 15 mins and never felt the need to play it again. Absolutely nothing like the first game which was great. This feels like a cheap mobile phone game cash in

This is just bit.trip runner with a Super Meat Boy skin on it, in case anyone thinks it might be worth their time. I think it's a reasonable price, but the game's not worth the time

Yeah I picked this up the other day since $2 but honestly not worth the 6GB it takes up on my SD card.
