This is a great deal IF it actually unlocks after 6 months like in the past when purchasing only the first month service. And better to purchase online than the store to avoid the grief of dealing with them. The $25 activation fee is waived online using the online activation tool, and no phone number transfer required.

So it's really $115 total in-store (which includes $25 activation fee, $40 minumum plan, and requires porting number), or $140 online ($40 minimum plan required, no activation fee and no number transfer/port required).

And since it's currently OOS online, these prices could change when in stock.

Terms on Metro site...
$25 activation fee per line may be required in store. Not all phones or features available on all service plans. Rates, services, coverage, and features subject to change and not available everywhere. Device selection and availability may vary. Screen images simulated and subject to change. Metro features and services for personal use only. Service may be slowed, suspended, terminated, or restricted for misuse, abnormal use, interference with our network or ability to provide quality service to other users, or significant roaming. See store or metrobyt-mobile.com for details, coverage maps, restrictions, and Terms and Conditions of Service (including arbitration provision). OOS online, plus this adds 40$ to the total price as phone should be purchased with plan.

Would the deal work with the 30/mo.plan? If so it may still be good....If in stock again...

I don't think so , for all other phones on deal it only lets 40$ plan to be picked.

Was it ever in stock in the first place? Going to the store sucks because of their BS activation fees.

Based on previous deals, no. On A54 both physical and eSIM are locked to Metro.

store will require $60 plan. pay full tax on retail price, activation fee, screen protector, phone case, insurance. expect $300 out the door.

Was hoping for a smaller and lighter phone, but the S23 FE is quite heavy for its size. It's 209 grams, which is considerably heavier than even the S23+ (196 grams). It seems like these phones just keep getting heavier and heavier with every generation. Disappointing.
