Knights of the old republic. An RPG … and if that's your cup of tea you've got to play it. Amazing game. Graphics are dated but if you don't care .. you're in for hours of bliss.

I still have the CDs and bought again on Android. This would be my third copy but doesnt hurt to have a digital backup. It plays surprisingly well on an android tablet with a bluetooth controller.

A remake was supposedly being developed but might have been dropped since no news for many months...

Just beat Rage 1 last week, was about to buy Rage 2 until I saw this.

For perspective Rage 1 is kind of rough open world FPS, 2008-ish but plays much more modern. Like if Mad Max was made into a FPS remake then they got semi confused and started copying Far Cry 3 halfway through. Oh and all of it was by an indie team and the world wasn't at all open yet the mission structure was. Combat is solid but the vehicle stuff is just driving from point A to point B, you just start ignoring anyone trying to destroy your buggy as it stops being interesting very quickly. Also you really cannot explore the "open" world, no point to it either. But shooting baddies is good so it is worth free or even a few bucks. From my understanding 2 has not strayed too far from 1's mold but adding some superpower abilities.

anyone have trouble getting this to show on epic? i already claimed rage 2 awhile back, claimed this now and the deluxe ed is still showing $59.99

Yep, same problem. I think because I already owned Rage 2 from a previous giveaway, it didn't upgrade to Deluxe. I tried contacting Epic support, and so far are not able to fix the issue.

BTW, Amazon gaming is absolutely useless on this topic. They said the attempt to redeem the game "FAILED". And, we all know why, because we own the base game on Epic. But, they can not, will not, reactivate the offer. And, they won't provide any form of transaction ID to hand to Epic so they can at least prove the attempt was made. I give up for now. Basically, Epic is pointing at Amazon, and Amazon is point at Epic.

It's gone. I view this as a potential positive development - probably more people complained. I'm guessing Amazon is clueless why they are getting so many complaints, but I can only guess that most everyone on Prime Gaming already owned the base game on Epic. We'll see.

Just so everyone knows, the Rage 2 issues are very widespread (and it's for the reason I mentioned above - because most people owned the base game from the giveaway). Many have complained, according to several threads I found. Hopefully they'll come up with a fix.

Confirmed. And for those that redeemed the game before they pulled it, and didn't get the Deluxe edition because they owned the base game on Epic, the Deluxe version is in fact in my library now. Search the Epic store, you will see it says the Deluxe and Base games are in your library.

If you have played Rage 1, this is absolutely nothing like it. That being said, this may have the best fighting/movement/gunplay dynamics I have ever played in a game. Movement is extremely fluid, it takes a minute to get all the upgrades, but so worth it. You get in about 60% of the way and it feels a little repetitive, but there's just something about the gameplay that is addicting

It's hard to track on here but the remake has gone through development hell because the studio that was tasked with (Aspyr) went bankrupt during development. I believe the last that was talked about it was it shifted developers but then Sony pulled all mentions of it so it's likely dead.

I sold my original copy of Rage 1 on eBay years after trying it and then shelving it . I forgot it had some very heavy handed digital rights bs, and only the original buyer could play it , so I screwed over whoever bought it from me. I felt really bad about it but I only remember the copy protection after it all went down Embarrassment
