We've come a long way from those 'made in Korea' deals for $300, years ago..

Here's the link to the deal you're referring to:
https://slickdeals.net/f/17017273-dell-se2723ds-2560x1440-75hz-ips-monitor-150

The Dell's Pros:
-Brighter (350 vs 300)
-AMD FreeSync Support
-Height adjustable stand

Dell Cons:
The Dell is only 75hz refresh rate instead of 165hz.
The Dell is only 4-8ms response vs 2ms.

I got the 32" and love it. Only downside for me is that there's no FreeSync, but the 165hz and low ghosting is pretty great I recommend the brand to anyone. Build quality is decent too
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. For me though lack of freesync kills the deal.

Has anyone VESA mounted one of these? Is the "void warranty if removed" sticker really on one of the VESA mount holes?

I'm tempted to buy this IPS monitor to replace this Dell TN monitor I brought years ago:

https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/pr...n_led.html

I only intend to use it as a second monitor as I have the a better Dell IPS monitor I got a few months ago. Would getting this Monoprice monitor be a worst buy to replace my Dell TN monitor?

I am looking to buy a monitor for my 13 year old son to hook up to his Xbox. Is this a good one? I want to spend $250 ish. Or maybe another suggestion?

If only it had a vertical orientation I would have bit on this.
This monitor can't go vertical? Need an extra monitor for work

This monitor has a 100x100 VESA mount, so if you have a way to mount it, it would go vertical. But the built in stand appears to be pivot only.
I also wouldn't recommend this 165hz high refresh rate monitor for work. You can totally use it FOR work, but you could probably get something cheaper or something w better display panel that's more suited for use at work

Is there a new AMEX deal to go with the Dell?

How would this be for PS5? Going to buy the Slim when it comes out here in a few weeks, and thinking about using a monitor vs plugging into our TV. Anything better in this $200 range?
I just ordered the 27" HyperX Armada 2K QHD 2560x1440 165Hz Gaming Monitor w/ Desk Mount $180 + Free Store Pickup from Microcenter as my child will be using solely for PS5. I wonder the same thing though.

There is also costco deal on BF which looks better with $10 more (without QD - quantum dot mentioned in model#).
https://www.costco.com/msi-27%22-...03457.html

Cannot figure out if there is difference between this and amazon one:
https://www.amazon.com/MSI-G274QPF-QD-Monitor-FreeSync-Displayport/dp/B0BX1YCQTH/ref=sr_1_3?crid=14X... [amazon.com]

If anyone is aware if there are any panel difference let me know. Did not find anything online.

I had one of those qnix and it served me well. unfortunate it only had dvi which is obsolete since gtx 1080ti. Or else I would have been using it till today.
Mine still works with my 4090 with DP to DVI adapter

The Club3D adapter allegedly supports the overclock
