Hilarious! You should try some of them via the Canon EF-RF adapters. They work flawlessly on RF bodies. These lenses are all excellent.

I used mine once in 10 years... Get the 24-70 2.8 II instead. You'll love it. Almost never leaves my camera. This is a great price for that lens. It's a brilliant lens.

These prices are excellent. I'm almost tempted to buy the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM even though I own the Mark II, and there is really no reason to upgrade.

The best value will be the EF lenses with an adapter. Right now there is a big premium for RF lenses since only Canon makes them.
Also absolutely correct

I can never understand the max zoom factor of lenses. Point and shoot cameras say factor. Why not bare lenses? Not a professional so please go easy on me.
Up until recently, no high quality professional lens had more than a 3x zoom. (Most recently there have been a couple notable exceptions to this rule due to some clever designs by Tamron and Samyang, so now we have some 4.3x high quality zooms with little compromises.) That's because of the laws of physics.

Those 50x zoom compact cameras one could buy 10 years ago are absolute garbage with tiny sensors.

Smartphones also do NOT have zooms. Dumb tech reviewers call them "zooms" because either they don't understand how optics work (many of them are in this camp) or they want to be invited back by Apple for the new iPhone's launch event next year. Apple won't even invite you back if you call the iPhone "the iPhone 15" as opposed to "iPhone 15". Oh no, it's "iPhone 15", not "the iPhone 15" because it's a person, not an object. WTF!?

No, there is not a single iPhone with a zoom lens. (There were a couple experimental Android phones with zooms. They are no longer made.)

Not really a deal at all for refurbs. Kinda standard pricing. Purely slickdeals affiliation link money-grab IMO. Extra lame that they try to hide it with a fake user name.

Many say the 24-105 is the best walk around lens there is.
At $1300 no thanks for the 2.8.
Plus I need something longer than 70.
Walk around. Use your phone for walk around. 24-105 is garbage.

What are ridiculous comment.
Have you been doing photography more than one day ?
I suggest you Google it and look at the reviews.

" The Canon EF 24-105mm f4 IS can easily be considered the best overall full frame Canon lens to have. ". From one site of many.

Show me a link that backs your opinion.

Are you able to comment with a proof? Have you ever seen a lower price for 100-400mm lens and 70-200mm lens?

Not true. Maybe priced for used, but not from Canon refurb US as good as new. Not grey either.
Cant buy used at these prices.

Honestly, I rather use my phone than carry around a camera if I'm shooting with the 24-105 f4. 24-70 f2.8 is what I would carry around.

show me the link its garbage.
The 2.8 is actually not as good quality in reviews. Research it.
Crazy comment. A full frame 30mp and you would rather have your phone. Ridiculous.
How long have you been doing photography ?

Absolutely correct. I have the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM and EF 100-400mm F4.5-5.6L IS II USM and they are still my favorite lenses on my R6. Also, you are able to use the extender with the EF version of the 70-200mm. You aren't able to use one with the RF version. The weight of the EF lenses is the only downside for me, but I'm used to it and see zero reason to switch them to RF. These are fantastic prices for these lenses.

Thanks for this comment. I'm still on a 5D mark II. Was nervous to invest in EF glass with me replacing the 5D eventually. This is reassuring!

For anyone looking for the EF70-200/2.8 III or EF100-400/II, these prices are the best I've seen tracking them in the last 2 years. I got my EF70-200 v2 for $1150 and EF100-400 v2 for $1250 used and in great condition. Being able to buy them refurb with warranty for a tad more (and potential for loyalty discount) is a win. Rumor is that an internal zoom RF70-200/2.8v2 is coming Nov 2, so possibly the reason why these are discounted.

I own an rf 24-104, which is light years better than the ef 24-105 that you are raving about. Is it going to perform better than a cell phone? Absolutely, but the margins aren't as big vs a prime lens or something with a lower f-stop. And my guy, stop asking how long people have been in photography when you're over drooling over an ef 24-105.
