$25+fee/month if adding a new line. Technically more than $600 after 2 years for iPhone 13 if you don't need the extra line...

I read somewhere it's $10 for line and $15 added now for unlimited data. You can call and remove/downgrade data. It's how they justify the bump to $25

I have a family of 10 lines and am fighting for this now. They promised to remove the internet fee before I added the line. After adding, I keep getting the $15 extra for the internet add on every month. Now, I chat every month to get it removed, every month they promise it won't be on the next months bill, and promise this time it is for real. But here I am, chatting again.

I decided to take advantage of this deal and was able to talk the salesperson into waiving the activation fee. I still had to pay $37.80 sales tax on the phone.

My SO is on Magenta. Is there any way to move him over to my Simple Choice plan and have him keep his number?

One Plan never get any offers - they try to bury this plan?
I spoke w/a T-Mobile supvr who told me that pretty much all the plans can get this promo. I have Essentials 55, which I believe runs the same price as Simple Choice.and qualifies for this promo too.(Essentials 55 doesn't have the international component.) There have never been any real promos for Essentials 55 either, so this is a good thing. Supvr quoted $15 to add a line (I now have 1 line).
OP should change description/header to Simple Choice & other plans.

how did you get a simple choice plan? The Tmobile website says

Simple Choice Talk & Text plans for your phone are no longer available, but whether you're new to T-Mobile or already a customer with a tax-excluded postpaid account, you can sign up for Simple Choice Mobile Internet or Simple Choice Wearable.

Has anyone port-in from Google Fi?
Website says yes for 5 lines + 5 phones free. I'm afraid of surcharge so I chatted with 2 reps.
One rep said 2 ip13 free, the other 3 50% off.
Another rep said I must deposit $1400 and I will be given back after 2 years.

$160 (including taxes) for 10 voice lines on SC with unlimited 5G data and North America calling/roaming. Is it really true that these old SC plans don't allow more than 10 voice lines?

This might help some of the questions....
Simple Choice is a grandfathered plan that was different for different people depending when they signed up. According to TMOBILE for the Simple Choice plans.....

If anyone is adding a line to there Simple Choice the fees and features will be based on the ORIGINAL deal when signing up.

So for those that got the $10 add a line( plus taxes and fees) under the original deal of 2gb of Data... that is what you will get for the $10.

If you originally did the $10 add a line and paid extra for MORE data such as 6Gb fee or whatever you picked, then those will be your fees up to $15 extra for data.

Tmobile IS honoring your original deal.... but just not the FREEBIE they gave everyone after the fact , of upgrading free to unlimited. So for those that Want the deal for $10 plus taxes and fees for $10..... they can get that but it's the ORIGINAL signed deal of 2GB data
