$25+fee/month if adding a new line. Technically more than $600 after 2 years for iPhone 13 if you don't need the extra line...

I read somewhere it's $10 for line and $15 added now for unlimited data. You can call and remove/downgrade data. It's how they justify the bump to $25

This deal is for a plan that T-Mobile no longer offers (Simple Choice). https://www.t-mobile.com/support/...oice-plans

Which makes it not a deal at all. You MUST be an existing T-Mobile Simple Choice plan customer to take advantage of this

There is no deal here for new customers.
It's literally in the first line of the post.

We have 5 phone lines and 2 watch lines. They simply say that I cannot add any more lines, period! Does this deal really work for my Simple choice plan? I am not getting my hopes high but I can easily add 4 more lines if they let us.

There is international calling on all our lines for $10 flat per account, is that why they are denying any new phone lines?
The watch lines don't count. I have 2 iPad lines, and the pads already dead years ago but the lines are still there, I can get 10 separate phone lines not counting the pad lines

If add another line to the phone be sent to a different address to a friends name or not? She would like for me to add her on my account. Also I already ordered an extra line for my household.

Nope. The promo will get kicked off the account when the next bill generates. Just a heads up. That rep is a POS fir lying to you.
Well there were some snafus on the first bill (they only credited back 50% rather than the whole amount) but I called and they resolved the problem and assured me the promotion was accepted and is applied. Got lucky maybe!

That was were current lines at the time that didn't have the unlimited SOC. Adding a new line won't give you the unlimited data with the $10, I've tried.
Well adding a new line now is gonna get you NO data.
Happened with me a year ago. Don't know about now.

This might help some of the questions....
Simple Choice is a grandfathered plan that was different for different people depending when they signed up. According to TMOBILE for the Simple Choice plans.....

If anyone is adding a line to there Simple Choice the fees and features will be based on the ORIGINAL deal when signing up.

So for those that got the $10 add a line( plus taxes and fees) under the original deal of 2gb of Data... that is what you will get for the $10.

If you originally did the $10 add a line and paid extra for MORE data such as 6Gb fee or whatever you picked, then those will be your fees up to $15 extra for data.

Tmobile IS honoring your original deal.... but just not the FREEBIE they gave everyone after the fact , of upgrading free to unlimited. So for those that Want the deal for $10 plus taxes and fees for $10..... they can get that but it's the ORIGINAL signed deal of 2GB data
This is not true with me.
I originally had the 2gb included too. They then upgraded all the lines to 4gb and then unlimited.
I canceled one line and then adding back on later for $10 but it had no data. Adding data was another $10 but I declined and now I don't even have choices any more on that line. Pretty sure if I call them up, they will offer me something but I don't know what that will be.

Do you have to port in from another company to get in on this deal if so then that is the deal breaker. I went to talk to T-Mobile yesterday and they said I have to port in the number to get the offer.
Use a Google voice number. $3 to unlock the number to port to another carrier.

Can anyone confirm if a Google Voice number will qualify as a port-in number?

I got the new iphone from tmobile, already came with a new number associated with the eSim.
I called them to ask if I still need to port in a number to qualify for monthly credit, and was told not necessary.
Anyone else in similar situation?

Edit: the promo on the account was Apple Activate ID230022, only monthly $13 credit. Not the correct (offer ID P559) Apple Activate ID230248 $26 credit.
I guess I need to port in after all.
(If you are in the same boat, make sure to port in number within 14 days of order.)
