Pretty much nothing about this product seems like a good idea.
-only supported in the middle
-Top larger than base
-the fact the top can be orientated in a different direction than the base
-weight (appears) to be only supported by a tiny screw not by large threading, 'steps,' or perhaps something pneumatic (like an office chair)
But hey, at least monitors are cheap

I mean there is some material to help grip the monitor, but it would be much more appealing if there were brackets you attach after placing the monitor or something to stop it from falling off, but even then the actual base is so small it looks easy to fall over. But it takes up minimal space on the desk. Those who are into aesthetics enough might just sacrifice the safety for it 🤣 even has a mac'ish look
