I'm too tired to think this out, so what is the minimal buy-and-get-out with a phone on this?

Can you confirm that the pay off price will be $36? Usually on device payment plans you get a monthly credit and have to pay off the remaining retail balance to cancel. I don't see a monthly credit so I'm guessing this might be different but wanted to double check first.

Why would you pay for 60 days service and activation... instead of 3 days and no activation?

Unlocking happens either way in 60 days.

snowbead said you need a verizon account to skip that. or you will have to activate a new line and choose a plan. did you mean we just go through those steps then call in to cancel within the first 3 days?

I selected new to Verizon, had to select a plan - selected $65/mo plan, at checkout due now amount was $0+$2.8 taxes.

I'm new to Verizon. I was reading thread to understand next step. I will go through posts again to understand better.

Really depends on the rate plan. If it requires the highest tier plan, "bye Felicia"!

Trying to get a phone for my grandmother in law in Colombia. Don't have Verizon, I read all 5 pages and I'm still not clear what needs to be done to get the deal? What is the cost for someone on Verizon that just wants to wait 60 days for an unlock?

Bought 1, I'm a current Verizon customer w/4+ lines on my account. Added a new line, cheapest plan was $27/mo for Welcome Unlimited. $1/mo financing for the phone for 36 months. I'm planning on paying off the phone ASAP and then cancelling the line. How long should I wait to do this?

I haven't had a Verizon account for 2 years now. I tried all 3 options, none are working.

1) Can I payoff the phone and cancel the plan same time(within 3rd day), when I visit version store?
2) So when I pay off and cancel, I would be entitled to pay $36 plus the porated planfee($5-10$) and tax correct?

I have same questions. I'm assuming I have to pay $65/mo+activation fee while activating phone which will be refunded on cancellation. Can someone chime in?

How does the performance compares to OnePlus 8. My OP8 is still snappy and has 8Gb RAM. Camera system also feels pretty decent with Gcam.
$36 is a great price given this will receive android 16 and additional year of security updates. What bums me is 6gb RAM. I have not used a device with low RAM in past 5-6 years and if I use this am daily driver I will be stuck with this for another 3 years with low RAM.
I do play PPSSPP EMULATOR and Game pass on my OnePlus 8. Really appreciate some feedback here.

Unless you have a Verizon account, the site doesnt allow you to checkout without activation and plan.
I have a Verizon account and the website is showing an error after I log in to my Verizon account to upgrade, it seems like this deal is only for new lines even if you have an account with Verizon otherwise Walmart's website will show an error that they can't retrieve account info.

Same here, I think we should wait until the phone arrives to have full access to Verizon account. After activate the line, just cancel it before 3 days, and then pay the phone in full and wait 2 months, correct?

Just curious.
Can anyone confirm if we need to open and turn on the phone for it to be unlocked after 60 days?

Can i just let the box sit for 60 days, and when i open post the 60 day period, the device will be unlocked automatically ? Like i can connect any sim immediately ? Or do we need to follow some process like connect to wifi and go to device unlock process.
After activation it will unlock automatically in 60 days

If I activate here in US and then take phone to India and keep on Wi-Fi only, will it unlock automatically ? Also will this phone work in India ?
