Buy iphone 14s.. really not much of a difference. Get Mint Mobile if you are not heavy data user.

T-mobile needs to go back to their non-greedy base when Legere started first Uncarrier. They are as big of crooks right now as they other ones are.

Are you a Mint Mobile customer? If so, what are your thoughts on the quality of service? I've been thinking about switching to it since I'm not a heavy data user.

Thanks, so you can keep doing that and you'll still get the discount for that month and following months?

Yeah, sounds like a pain. But why not do auto-pay with your cc to avoid the pain?

we have 4 paid off phones and a family plan for 4 lines with TMobile. 3 Iphone 13's and 1 Iphone SE 3rd generation. Family Plan is not a contract so we are free to do anything.

Is this worth pursuing, or should we go with the Verizon deal that comes with 4 Iphone 14 Plus but its a 3 year contract.

Voice line works fine. Data is choppy at times and feels heavily throttled at times. It's a no concern to me as I am always on wifi. If you don't care about data, even hello mobile at $5 is fine.

I have an old plan that's $100/month for 4 lines and can add additional lines up to 10 total at $10 each - could I switch to this plan and get the 'free' iphones? This essentials plan seems about on par with what I have now.

I would like buy your plan down, you can port around you number and join back to T-Mobile with new plan you like, save you little bit.

Deal would be slick to do it at Costco. Save the 35/line dcc + you get like a 70 dollar costco gc per line. That might make it up for switch plans.

Locations of Costcos to do it at.

Just tried to see my old, but still in mint condition iPhone XR. Its trade-in value only $100.
Then, would have to pay iPhone 15 for 829-100=729. Not a deal at all.

One strange thing, Isn't iPhone 15 started from $799. Why is it 829 from some of carrier ?

This is Tmobile's scheme of trying to get their legacy customers to drop the grandfathered plan and switch to one of their latest plans. Sneaky bastards. They are basically just like other carriers even though they like to tout their "uncarrier" ways. When CEO John Leguire left, I knew the uncarrier initiative was over.

Leguire made T-Mobile awesome. Once he left nobody else wanted to be the face of the company and offer exciting incentives. The creativity died when he left, and we all sadly knew it would.

I'm still on Simple Choice paying $95 total a month for 3 lines with unlimited everything. Not sure about hotspotting and no Netflix etc but those new plans are $$$. Also I've been complaining to Tmo about service at my house for 5 years because it CRAWLS even with full bars 5G UC.... Verizon and ATT are basic cable internet fast (50-70mbps) at my house so it's super frustrating.
i have simple choice but my data i have to pay for. how did you get your data included?
