I bought this based on some research and I think this is a good deal.

at lowes a similar product https://www.lowes.com/pd/Greenwor...1003203122 is available for $450. After careful inspection the only difference that I could see is the blue style hose. I planned on buying a 50ft flex hose anyway, so this saves me a few bucks (ended up buying a surface cleaner with the savings)

Was $315 for Prime Days, so pretty close to that.

If you need certain accessories with it and can wait, Costco puts its bundle on sale for $350 sometimes. https://slickdeals.net/f/16543330-costco-greenworks-3000-psi-electric-pressure-washer-349-99?v=1&src...

I have this model and it works well. It has good cleaning power, but the lower flow means when you're using a surface cleaner on your driveway that it doesn't wash away debris as well as a higher flow gas model. For other jobs that don't need the higher flow, like cleaning my vinyl fence, it's indistinguishable from my old gas washer.

If you have GFCI outlets (you should) and they're older, you may need to replace them. This does trip the GFCI in some of my outdoor outlets, but not others. They are 17 years old though.

I did see some videos that used a surface cleaner and had to go slow. Hopefully I don't have to do it twice (once more with a high pressure nozzle)

also I think it interesting there's not much else in this price range. You have to go at least twice this to get a heavy duty machine, but then how do you plug at home...

This thing uses 14 amps
Many older homes have 1st gen GFCI's at 15amps with 14ga wiring
You can't simply put in a 20 amp GFCI the wiring would need to be 12ga

I never said anything about 20 amp GFCI. All I said was that if you have outdoor outlets that are old, they're likely corroded or otherwise weathered and replacing them with fresh ones may head off problems using a high current device like this. If you have 15 amp GFCI, you should of course replace them with 15 amp GFCI.

For the driveway, I just followed it up with a regular garden hose sprayer to wash away the loose debris. The concrete is clean, it just doesn't flow enough water to wash the loose stuff away when you're done.

They have a 60V battery powered unit that has twice the flow, but it is a lot more expensive when not on sale and runtime is less than an hour with both batteries. I'm already invested in 80V Greenworks tools so I decided to just live with the lower flow wired unit. I'm still happy with it so far.

300 bucks are you nuts. stop f'n with these joke pressure washers , i see people cleaning thier driveway for the entire freaking weekend. GO get a belt drive 4200 psi with a cat pump will open a whole new world , rent it, get it done in 2 hours if you're not gonna pay someone. it's 100 times faster if you're not gonna pay someone. 20 inch+ surface cleaners hundreds of feet hose no loss. However if you're strapped then it will be slow going but IMHO 300 bucks+ for some electric crap is not strapped it's a fool and his money are soon parted, but i'm sure like most things there's use cases.

after personally testing I think I agree with this. Yes it did clean but I didn't realize how slow it was. Now to figure out how to return (mistakenly threw out the box).

side note if anyone in Atlanta wants one $300 Big Grin
