The Apple Watch charger had a USB A version, but I don't believe the MagSafe charger did.

perfect. Now I can make sure every corner of my house has a MagSafe charger, and one just for travel.

in case you don't know, there are a lot of fakes on eBay. the only way to tell is when the charger is charging your iPhone, you need to see if the phone shows the firmware information of the wireless charger. if it doesn't, then it is fake.
