You're looking at it the wrong way. This isn't a smart watch, it's a fitness tracker. For me, as a cyclist, it doubles as a cycling computer, I can pair my power meter to it, the shifters, cassette, speed and cadence sensors. It calculates TSS, VO2 max, recovery times. Name one phone that can do that.

Thanks I will check it somewhere else to see how it fits.

Yeah, let me know where you find em. I also want to look at a live screen, use touchscreen and see fit/weight. Trying REI today.

I have a Fenix 6 Pro which is about the same size. I sleep with it almost every night and have no problem. Obviously took a little getting used too. But now I leave it on all the time pretty much.

Thank you! I like the weight and feel of a venu 3 still debating as this is a lot of watch for the price and it looks gorgeous from pictures. I am a daily person who wants to be more active with HIit, yoga and meditation. Bike with kids etc

Wow ! Just heading there myself now. The problem is they have mock units and they said it's for sizing only and not weight. This was when I was looking at F265

Have to go Fenix/Epix Pro for this feature.

I am very tempted for the price but am holding our for the Sapphire version for $550 (currently $650). Along with the Sapphire glass, you get twice the memory (32gb vs 16gb) and dual band GPS. There is also the Titanium bezel but I don't think this is an advantage as it appears to wear faster.

I've had this on my wish list for a while. Bought mine and was shipped in a few days. Arrived in perfect condition and fully warranted. Get it while you can, REI and other stores still have this for $700-800.

So important the sapphire. I won't even consider a pixel watch because it's easy to break and can't be fixed.

I have never been able to break the non-sapphire glass on any of my Garmin Fenix since the series 3HR or the 735XT, 935, 945 etc. Even scratches don't seem to be an issue since the bezel is high and protective.

Does anybody play pick up sports with a Garmin? I play soccer (football for the rest of the world) and basketball, and idk if it's durable enough to withstand potential contact.

You are not supposed to wear anything which can cause injuries to others in a soccer game, do you realize?

The main issue I have with Garmin is the weight. It's too darn heavy! I use Amazefit due to light weight. If they can do light weight I would be ready to puchase.

You'd need to go with the newer versions of Epix Pro, Fenix Pro, Tactix, Venu 3. Basically you need the V5 (newest version as of Oct2023) of the sensor on the back of the watch.
