Dear Sam's Club…

Why make your current customers jump though hoops switching emails and accounts to get these deals that are only for "new members"?

Just make it for all members.

I completely agree with you but they do this to make the shareholders happy when they publish how many "new" members there are.

Price of the products in Sams club were higher compared to Costco.
If Costco is near by, I will always go with Costco.
If it is not near, then only I will go for Sams Club.
My 2 cents.

Sams doesn't give you 2% rewards on online purchases, so I would argue Costco is cheaper if the price is the same.

Last time there was a deal on this, I popped for it.... and you know what? I never used the PLUS feature. A LOT of their stuff is not "shippable" so check into that before you spend the extra and then like me, can't even use it.

For sure, not sure what they're talking about. I don't have specific examples to link, but in general Sam's seems to be considerably cheaper for household type stuff in my area at least.

I like Costco for their specialty stuff e.g. gluten free pizza etc. not their great deals on household items.

You also get 2% cash back (up to $500) with Plus so it could pay for itself easily. There are some other perks also.

Your statement is false. FYI the geniuses at costco still think their executive member should be forced to scramble around their website trying to find $75 worth of "3 day shipping" items to get free shipping. Sams gives plus members free shipping on almost anything they sell online. No minimums

This hasnt been true for a couple years now. Household supplies, meat prices (especially in cryovac before their butchers touch it) are cheaper at Sams. Scan & Go feature and curb side pickup is a huge plus.
