I'm getting stupider as I get older but reading the specs on the samsung page, I don't understand what the difference is between this an an endurance card in regards to dashcam use?? Does anyone really know if it is just marketing hype or if there is actually a difference between the endurance cards and these cards?


9 Waterproof: withstand up to 72 hours in seawater.
10 Temperature proof: operating temperatures of -25 C to 85 C; non-operating temperatures of -40 C to 85 C.
11 X-Ray proof: up to 100mGy, equal to airport X-ray machines.
12 Magnetic-proof: up to 15,000 gauss, or the magnetic field equivalent of a high-field MRI.
13 Drop: withstand drops up to 5meters (16.4 feet).
14 Wearout: up to 10,000 swipes.

Not the same price before your discounts (at least for the 512). But the government discount did get it down to $27.99, and I would rather but straight from samsung. thanks!

Not stupid at all, I came here to ask about this too. I wonder if they've folded those endurance improvements into these Pro cards.
