This is the five spot laser in red - so laser points on ceiling, floor, two side walls, and wall in front of laser. The red laser doesn't show up as well as the green lasers and the points are of less use than the line or cross-line lasers as you're working off a single point. It can be of use to line things up, but where a line laser will give you a level line to work off of - such as for hanging a picture level or putting in cabinets - this will just give you a point to start with. You'd have to use a level to create a line from it.
I say all of this because the reviews get confusing since the options include cross-line lasers and many of the reviews are for those and not just the spot laser options.
