You can see from these benchmarks that the G2 beats some of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC's in sustained GPU stress tests. It's not the best out there for sure, but it is a step up from the 865.
Now all that said, my S7 is incredible and I don't intend to move on from it until I see a significant performance jump. We're probably already there with the SD 8 Gen 2 chips, but I'm holding out until whatever the next iteration of Samsung's Tab series is. I expect that's when I'll make the change. I just like the concept of the Pixel Tablet. If they make a second generation version of it I expect it could be quite good though I think they might bail on the line.

How long you consumers will tolerate the lack of memory card slots? Yeah yeah I know what you are going to say, they are gone bla bla - they are gone because of you!
This is a $350 device tops. It should be on sale for $250 because at that price, the value is clear. At $400 it's still an overpriced hobbled device.
To do what you're asking would require a Bluetooth receiver in addition to the USB-C DAC.
But it doesn't stop there, right? Because the next thing you would expect is a perfect handoff of audio each time you remove or place the tablet on the dock.
In order to facilitate that, a custom codec would have to be created, as the default SBC codec always has a brief silence when output changes.
A custom automatic task that always runs in the background to make sure Bluetooth is turned on whenever the tablet is placed in the dock would also need to be created, if they aren't already managing aspects of that (like turning off auto pairing when the device is docked).
When all is said and done, it adds another $100-200 to the MSRP for a feature you probably wouldn't actually use all too often.
man just watch the next gen of this product do include a bluetooth receiver to just look like a complete tool with no basic standards
