I have one of this from shark, but not exactly the same model and that was the last mop I ever bought. I have tried many others and nothing works as good as this. This only requires replacing pads once in a while and very small amount of distilled water.
I have a Shark steam mop that I bought from Walmart in 2011 during Thanksgiving. It is still running flawless and excellent quality. I will highly recommend a 2023 version of it.
I use Pledge hardwood floor polisher and spray lysol disinfectant on the floor. The combination makes the floor look very nice and clean.
I'm sold on these comments. We have two toddlers and a ton of food bits get stuck on our hardwoods near the dinner table.
I don't think steam mops are recommended on hardwood floors. Wood and/or the finish can be damaged with hot steam. I think steam mop is ok or vinyl planks, tile, stone, etc.
Have owned and used the Shark S3501co (from Costco) for years. It cam with three mop head sizes and I'm always using the largest one which is 16 in x 7 in, double sided. Whichever size mop head you use, have a few extra mop pads because they get dirty quickly if it has been a while since cleaning. Easier to just swap out a fresh mop pad than taking the time to rinse clean the dirty mop head. You can get extra standard size 12.5 x 7 inch mop pads easily online, which I think is the size of the mop head of this model.

So I have used steam mops on real wood floor planks. No damage to non-furniture areas and these areas are also heavily walked because they are the point of entrance to the stairs.
