You mean temperature changing? I rarely use color even though I have it.

i bought and paid for hue just for the cool color functions. thats why i wonder why people pay hue just for 1 color. people usually stick with their single favorite white. so dimming is a more practicle feature than changing the color temperature.

These are likely 850 lumens, which are good for some uses (living room or den, bathrooms provided they have other lights on the mirror) but not great for areas where you want a ton of light like your kitchen.

Pretty sure all smart lights have the dim feature via their app.

But yea you're right, this is only one color/temp. I buy the ambiance ones so I can set the exact temp that I want.

Crazy good price for the 4 pack. I've been using BR30 Hue lights for 5 years now in a lot of different spots and never had one fail. The white ambiance ones are great for places you're never going to want color like a hallway or recessed lighting like the kitchen.

These are not white ambiance, just white. Ambiance can change from daylight white (bluer) to "soft" white (oranger). I like ambiance for changing color temp over the day (bluer in morning, orangey at night). But this is a great deal on the four pack if you don't care about that.

I use these in the 6 can lights in my kitchen. They're 60w equivalent, so fine for that case. Agreed that one alone is not going to cut it though.

These arent white ambiance, they're fixed color temp. I think these are quite old and Philips has discontinued these

They do work with HomeKit, despite the listing not mentioning it

To respond to some comments here, me personally, I like to keep all my smart bulbs in one environment. I don't want to have to download and create multiple accounts to use other brand bulbs if most of my lights are color hue. That and they are great quality bulbs.
