G series does not have a stand - it must be wall mounted. B and C come with stands but may be wall mounted.
I'll put it like this:

B-Series - Person who wants "the best" but isn't going to fill up their HDMI slots as only two ports are 2.1, which only matters to console gamers at the time WITH the best consoles (Xbox Series X/PS5)

C- Series - Person who is afraid that one day even the new Nintendo console will use 2.1, and wishes to prepare themselves a bit deeper into the future.

G-Series - Person who wants "the best of the best" panel + ATSC 3.0 tuner, which can one day provide 4K content via antenna (which is so damn far away)...but my market is doing 1080p which is life changing for sports.

I would buy this 9/10 times if I were a regular person. I got an eye popping deal on a G2 in May at this size and I'm good for 5+ years, but I've been on the hunt for replacing my bedroom TV so around April to July I'm going to be stalking the price of the B3 in hopes it hits about 1k-1.2k so I can grab it

Note: all of this to type YES, this is the deal at this size as nobody is going to put out the C series this cheap for BF as they know folks are still buying it with marginal discounts
This is why we can't have nice things.

Ah. I bought 77A2 from Costco 2 month ago at $1500. Should I return and buy this?
I am. This is a pretty big step up IMO. HDMI 2.1, 120hz, VRR, current generation and 3 additional years of warranty.

LG partner store is $1619.99 but only with a standard manufacturer warranty. Additional 2 years is $179. Which deal is better?
I have heard LG direct return policy is pretty bad and will be an hassle. I think buying from Costco gives you the best flexibility if you change your mind with returns.

I'm still rocking my 2017 65" B2. Would this be a worthy upgrade?
If it ain't broke don't fix it. I don't think that you'll see much of a difference except maybe in brightness and of course the larger size.

Agree completely. Don't understand the rush to buy at 1800$. While not everyday price, it's a common sale price and you can get C3 certainly for sub 2k at one point or another.

I have C1 and C2 and just don't like them. Both are in bedroom, only for night viewing, and it's too dark, especially HDR/Dolby Vision.

Upscaling is horrendous, so much so that my Samsung qn95b is leaps ahead.

The learning/bright side , is because of LG horrible upscaling, I now know why there are so many Sony fans and finally bought x95k arriving Friday. First time Sony in 15 years.

I still don't know why LG commands any premium. Much prefer Sammy or Sony any day
Yeah... what people don't understand is that most TVs look great with uncompressed 4K content but once you take it home and try watching reg cable (480/720p/1080p). You'll wish you had a Sony.

Considering upgrading from my 75 inch Samsung LED. I'm sure the picture quality is amazing compared to what I have. My only concern is only slightly bigger than my current TV. Should I pull the trigger or get a 85 inch?

Anyone else getting weird credit card charges after ordering for delivery? I have a pending charge and credit for the price plus tax, and a pending charge for $105.

They will charge you for the extended warranty (warranty + tax) and then substract it from the TV when the item ships. In the end it will all work out.

You're totally overlooking that this also comes with +3 years of warranty in the price consideration. Also "at one point or another" will probably be next spring.

This obsession with extended warranty is mind boggling. Maybe I've been very lucky, but NONE of my tech (except one), nor appliances have ever broken in 3 years or, even 5. From cheap brands to name brands, from Sony, to Samsung to LG to GE, and more. I'm sure it happens, but not enough to sway my decision. I won't turn it down, but I never look for it. Ironically the ONLY tech brand that's ever give me problems at year 1 to 3, has been Apple MacBooks (hence why after the 2nd time, it was my last apple laptop)

They only offer 7 days return policy. I wouldn't buy it from them.

Anyone know where the B3 is most likely to have a display model? Would really like to see it in person and compare with other OLEDs before dropping a lot of $$$ - My local Costco never seems to carry any inventory of the B series.
