If you are Costco member, look at buying from there since you get total of 5-yr warranty.

That warranty doesn't cover burn in
Burn-in isn't really a problem anymore. Can it still happen? Yes. However, it's a very tiny portion of OLEDs. Every product in existence is capable of having something go wrong with it. The whole "beware of burn-in" thing needs to go away, though.

Last Christmas I paid $1700+$100 extended warranty for a B2 from Walmart/BeachCamera. The B3 shouldn't be more than that later this year.

Anyone thinking about this vs the Hisense U75K, which will be $900 at Costco in a couple of weeks. I know this TV is better, but is it TWICE as good? 5 year vs 3 year warranty does have me maybe considering this one.

It's not an OLED, so it's a different category TV altogether?

Agreed. Once we went Sony 3 years ago we never looked back. Went through Samsung (the absolute worst), and LG (not bad), we finally settled on Sony. We have 4 Sony TVs in the house now and they have been absolutely perfect.

This is a great deal, and an infinitely better option than Samsung though.
It really is luck of the draw. Out of all the TVs I've bought over the years, the only one to ever crap out was a Sony lol

Well, they both fall in the "highly rated at rtings.com". The LG C2 was their pick for "best upper mid range" and then the Hisense 8K was their pick for "best mid range". And so I'm debating between both of their weaker kid brothers.

Samsung 90C is the king this year. And with EPP that will be $1700 or less in Feb.

Yes, if you have Samsung EDU or EPP you can get S90C for $2000. If you get into chat, they will throw in samsung care+ warranty. Only downside is you do not get 5yr warranty like the B3 from Costco
Wait til Feb the S90C will be $1700 or less with EPP. It happens every year. I got a S95B for $900 last year. 65 inch but they didn't make a 75 inch.

Costco pricematch is only 30 days. If it is within 90 days, your best bet is to return and rebuy or buy a new one and return it with old receipt
People are scum that do that crap.

I used to think so, but my most recent OLED has me thinking I'll buy Samsung next time. Picture is gorgeous, of course (OLED can't help that 🤣) but the smart features are pretty lackluster.

FYI, no ASTC 3.0 tuner for next-gen TV.

I hope you meant Sony....LG is going down hill. Reviews on this TV are scary, but Samsung will need years of not putting out trash to have a chance to regain my business.

What makes you say LG OLEDs are going downhill?
