Several versions of the Begleiter 2 knife, including tanto, on sale 50% off, and the Begleiter button lock with 154CM steel instead of N690 are on sale. Coupon applies to 1 single purchase after clicking on "redeem" when you click on the item. Personally love the Begleiter 2, most drop shut action I own. Nice to see the carbon fiber version and other colors available this time, previously on these 50% off front page deals have been only on green micarta/black blade versions.

    Great price. The reviews for the button lock seem concerning given that many reviewers are familiar with Kizers. Interested but the reviews are enough to keep me away.

    Currently own liner lock versions of a Begleiter 1 & 2 in N690. Love the 2. Don't really need another one but would happily get one at this price if I didn't own one already.

    Agreed, loved the Begleiter and the 2 even more. Have Original and Cormorant and both excellent button lock actions, I'll bet this one will be just fine

    I am going to take the chance. Love the Begleiter 2, button locks and micarta. Easy return if there is an issue with the lock. I do also have the Begleiter XL with button lock and it has no issues.

    Update: Received it today and it is perfect. No issues whatsoever.

    Amazon won't ship knives to half of the country anymore. Every time I try to buy one it says they can't ship it to my state other people have the same problem.

    I love the entire line. You can't go wrong with any of these at these prices. My favorite is actually the one with the contoured carbon fiber handle shown in the picture. I hate flat carbon fiber overlays, but that one is amazing and very ergonomic.

    One of my all time favorite knives! I have a liner lock and button lock and both have worked pretty flawlessly. Just a solid no nonsense design.

    For those who also own the Towser K, what would be the appeal if you're not getting the button lock? I guess I just can't imagine it being better especially at this price range, seems like it'd have to get into m390 territory or something.

    Have three of the Begleiter one and this in the CF. Can't go wrong with this or one of the original Begleiters..One of the Kizers everybody should have. Smilie

    Super narrow/thin profile, light with thin milled liners, make it incredibly pocketable compared to larger bladed knives (~40% lighter than Tower K) I could be content to use this as my EDC without feeling I'm lacking anything compared to my Bugout. This Micarta is actually quite excellent compared to other styles, better than allbother micarta I own. Action rockets out and drops shut, fantastic detent. I really am over analyzed this but I think this is the only liner lock I've ever felt with thin liners like this and I really love that and how it makes the action feel. only downside would be not as robust on the lockup for super hard use
