Tried the link stuff, it was just okay. I found it wasted an enormous amount of space vs other organizers since each piece must lock into a fixed position. Unlike the gladiator, where hooks, etc can slide and be placed exactly where you want them creating better efficiency. Looks pretty good though and def can hold weight

The Ryobi Link stuff has been on in-store " clearance " / yellow tagged since weeks after launch.

Where it has been marked down initially by 50c to a $1 off, trying to get some attention to it; but it just does not sell. The stuff is coated in dust now. It is expensive, not very space efficient and too late to market to possibly capitalize on people who bought the storage boxes. Because the tool box wars have a lot of existing players, and so most people are settled in with other boxes.

I have a pro slat storage wall - that holds mostly Ryobi garden tools and power tools - on one side of the garage. It is not exactly inexpensive and the metal brackets are expensive - like with any brand - especially as they only come in bundles with big hooks and lightweight pegs; but I have now 3D printed a number of pegs and hooks, and can have any density or horizontal or vertical position on the wall that I want. I can't imagine trying to copy a that with Ryobi Link. It is a good idea, but for a limited application.

I would like to use it for a small section of my shed, but it's never on clearance near me.

I tried two stores near me and both had it at full price, no end cap clearance. it wasn't a total loss as I picked up the Link Standard Toolbox while I was there for $29.95, which I also saw on SD. Smilie
