I'm hoping Costco has a good deal.

LG direct has worst return policy. I had a friend that bought a TV and outside box and everything looked great. The delivery guys were in a rush, but when he opened it up next day noticed the panel had a dent and screen was slightly warped around there. LG would not let him exchange it out and had to get it done through warranty which ended up being a nightmare for him.

Return policy: https://members.us.lg.com/store/p...ame=return

Hopefully Costco has a sale soon for around this price.

G3 is bit brighter and more natural/realistic colors. It also supports Dolby Vision and DTS. Plus 5 year warranty on the panel. Much better upscaling too so if you watch 720p or low bitrate streaming the G3 will be much better.

S90C is great value especially if DTS/DV is not needed. However, Samsung has lots of quality control issues and and their version of OLED still has some growing pains with burn in at the moment since it is new tech.

If you have the money go LG or Sony OLED IMO.

I'll probably be waiting for clearance once the 4 series is out. I'd imagine the C4 may have the MLA panel too, so I may be able to look for clearance G3's and C4 sales.

Good price for those buying now though! Waiting several months to save a couple hundred dollars doesn't necessarily outweigh getting the TV now and enjoying it that whole time.

I have a hard time justifying $1050 more for the same size tv compared to the S90C. I have the money, that wasn't/is the issue. I definitely understand the 5 year warranty and Dolby vision but I don't think people could convince me it's worth that much more

That's a personal thing based on how you feel about that stuff, especially something like Dolby Vision. If you don't care, it's not worth it, if you do, you put a value on it and make a choice. I also like LG navigation / menus better as an example of another intangible. Other value arguments can be made for motion handling, upscaling etc etc pros and cons between them.

You just need to figure out what each does differently and by how much and what's important to you to make a call.

FYI they have the 77" C3 for $2,249.99.

Wish I had something like a 10% coupon code to apply and would pull the trigger right away.

If you have an Amex card, there is a 6% CB offer that expires today. Haven't tried it so can't confirm if it works on LG partner site, but I don't see why not

Thanks for the heads-up! I added it to my card a couple weeks back but forgot about it altogether.

Very tempting... 😅

Would the buydig offer be better?
Usually Buydig have good deals, but most with call-in because they can't show the price

Just FYI, I placed an order for the 77" G3 back in September (through the LG partner site) and I received the CB on my Amex account without any issue (the offer on my card at that time was 4% CB for LG purchases).

How does it compare to S90C? often that model is compared with C3. Interested in 65"
Do not get S90C, had to return 2 of them and I gave up. First one had this very weird sound coming from the TV super loud every-night where I would have to unplug to get rid of the noise, they exchanged it and then my apple tv wouldn't get detected from hdmi ports no matter the cable. Was such a nightmare month trying to box TV's back and arrange samsung returns.

Still feels pricier than black friday. I know it's been a few years but the C1 55 inch was 1300 and the c1 65 inch was 1800. Maybe the models shot up in price but this feels pretty expensive.
