Is there anyway to expand the 2 year warranty to say 4 years? I don't see the option on ebay
Look at the buydig options on eBay…I've been looking myself. If you call LG they will give you a 15% off code which brings the new one about 100$ more then this if done through lg's website. So I'm still negotiating

Can you please elaborate on what exactly you're getting? Is LG giving you a code to use in buydig's ebay store? What price are you getting so far?
Buyers beware of Buydig. I bought a refurbished C2 from them a few weeks ago and it arrived damaged. The top part of the screen, where it gets very thin, was bent backwards and the TV didn't work. Just a brief green line and then black. The foot/pedestal was loose in the box and it is quite heavy. I don't know if it got wedged between the box and the TV and bent the screen, but the box was undamaged.
Anyway, it took me a week with several emails and phone calls (a few hours total), to finally get it resolved and get a refund. It was NOT easy. They put the onus on me and made me send pictures several times because they kept stating that they couldn't view them. I finally started a return through ebay and was easily able to upload pictures. To sum up, Buydig was very unhelpful, not at all apologetic for me receiving a damaged TV and did nothing until I started a return through ebay. Fortunately for ebay's policies and refurb guarantees, I finally got some action.
The solution was to cut the power cord and for me to dispose of the TV. It took me an hour round trip to the recycling center and a $10 recycling fee, which I had to eat.
I ordered the TV in good faith and received a defective product and I had to waste hours of my time and a little of my own money to resolve it. NOT good customer service. I would recommend avoiding Buydig just for this reason. I'm sure the majority of customers never have any issues, but if you are one of the few that do, good luck. Spend the extra $100 or $200 and get it new, you'll be much happier and it will be much easier to return or service if needed.

I had the same experience, received my tv and bottom left of the screen was crushed, took them over a week to give me a refund, also made me cut the cord and wanted pictures of it. They didnt want to freight it back to new jersey i guess. I decided to just get a brand new C3 for another company no issues at all and quick shipping and I got it the same price as the c2 same size. I also bought a bed from them and the bed itself was damaged, they told me to go do warranty with the manufacture. The manufacture website said to have the retailer help you first which they denied wanting to help me. In the end they offered me a 80% refunded, which i just called my credit card company and put in a dispute and got my money back. I won't be buying from them ever again
