FreeSync works on Nvidia GPUs, but only over DisplayPort. The specs on the monitor only list 1x HDMI port as an input, so it looks like FreeSync is not going to work on this monitor on a GeForce card.

Currently using a 22" insignia 1080p tv ax monitor. It is convenient with built in speakers but the text and photos is bit blurry compared to regular monitor

The correct ports are the following:

HDMI Yes x 1
D-Sub Yes x 1
Headphone Out 3-pole (Sound Only)

So, it has a D-Sub or VGA port. It doesn't have Displayport.
