the Polks are all entry level stuff, to my untrained ear, they're great and get plenty loud, I feel like they outpace the bass from the F12.
P.S. I've had 13 cancelations on this item in the last ~2 weeks. Maybe someone is looking out for me?
For one of my external amps, I did replace the fan with a 'be quiet!' fan so the fan would be silent. Could use noctua/etc
I bought 2 new monolith 15s. One was DOA. Got a replacement for the DOA unit, then the other one went out in under a month. Returned both and never looked back.
IT WILL FAIL on you. It's just a matter of time. Consider yourself warned.
edit: hmm...funny how the 2 reviewers bought 15" previously then bought the 13". I guess it's not to bad pairing 13" and 15" since they perform about the same. just 13" has more impact due to 2000 watts.
When it gets released most likely it's going to be to the higher end AVR/processors not the current level that got DL.
Took almost a decade for DL to come to mid level AVR's and right now DLBC only offered to new Onkyo/Pioneer(soon Denon/Marantz).
