Bought 2 galaxy watch for 25 dollars on ebay, will use as trade in for 2 watches. Also used 25 dollars off first time mobile app, and another 25 off coupon off i had. also used chase 15 percent off offer. net cost is 126 before tax per watch 6 classic 43 mm, including cost of galaxy watch from ebay.

I did this a few weeks ago with a $150 trade in of an almost brand new Galaxy S3 Frontier watch. Yesterday, I got an email saying that the device was rejected because of a "failed data wipe" and that I would be charged for the trade in amount.

Luckily, I took a video of me showing the watch had no scratches or cracks and I started up the watch until it got to the start screen after a factory reset. I talked on chat and they manually accepted the trade in after I showed them the video. If I didn't have that video, I'd probably have to go through the hassle of getting my device back and returning the new watch.

If you are doing a trade in, take as many pictures as you can and a video showing the device boots up, show the device set up screen, and that the screen is not cracked or scratched heavily.

I'm waiting on my active 2 to be accepted, as it was delivered yesterday, but I also recorded a video of the new watch along with active 2 working, in case something like this happens, I don't trust assurance people

this is just horse shit. they must be following AT&T when it comes to trade-ins. why do we have to take video of our stuff just to prove our innocence. wow.

my order from a few weeks ago never made it to me. i'm requesting a refund. screw it.
