Edit: I have a feeling the "Bundle" Costco offers may also go on sale to around $1399, so +$100 over this price but you get the pinch weld blocks and wall hangers.
Update: just got a shipping notification direct from bendpak less than 24hrs since my order!
Update 2: Read the manual VERY carefully! After waiting the minimum 24hrs after applying the included thread sealant and then bleeding the system (you'll need to provide about 2.5qts of synthetic atf fluid), I successfully lifted my car and completed a rear brake pad replacement on both wheels! So far a very expensive brake job lol, but over time I'm sure the quick jack will pay for itself. One gripe was that they didn't include the 4.5mm hex key needed to unscrew the bleed port. It's a size I've never encountered before and I do lots of bike maintenance as well. I used a T27 torx but as a substitute and it worked fine.
Unless you're coming up with 4,500lbs off a CAT scale -- your vehicle likely weighs considerably more than the manufacturer lists as it's weight. If you tow a lot you pay attention to these things when vehicle shopping -- but there are very large differences in vehicle weight when you start considering options. My truck, for example, has almost 700lbs of 'optional' equipment. These are things like glass roof, heavier leather, power seats, etc -- it all adds up.
If it were for sure 4500 - I'd get under it but I wouldn't let anyone I cared about get under it, if that makes sense.
Next size up would be a worthy investment if for no other reason so you don't have to pull your junk out to work on it.

Overall I think the system is okay, but only marginally quicker than a jack and jack stands. They're obscenely heavy too, so it's not fun moving them around my driveway. Once they're set up though they are quick.
I think their newer models have more spread, if I did it again I'd probably wait out for one of those.
I actually did not know that they recommend also placing jack stands, doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose? I don't like crawling underneath with these anyways lol.
So far my trans am is the only car that would benefit from this, as on that car I can't easily reach the K member and differential with an extended jack because of the length of the nose and rear bumper. While it has worked for an Acura TL and a Honda pilot, it sketched me out because only ~1" of each block was engaged with the pinch welds.

Newer one, the TLX, it's longer but I think it just matches the extension you can buy for the non-x version. I just got the 7000TL months ago. They def need to be longer in general. Sticking them under a Subaru WRX, I can hit both pitch welds but it's kinda awkward with plastic blocking all but the designated locations for the car jack lift points. It is low enough to go under at stock height though.
Under a 2012 Acadia is annoying. I got the truck lift additions but I can't use them. They'll get sliced by the pinch welds and i don't have enough length to hit solid frame. So, I use the pinch weld blocked up but not in the pinch groove AND the truck lifts spread somewhere between the front and rears. Plus, on the Acadia you have the units positioned as far forward as possible because the SUV is massively front heavy.
I agree there damn heavy for most. I wanna say each unit is 90ish lbs
I didn't see till the 3rd time I used them that you should hit the lube points with white lithium grease. Also, spraying those tiny jokingly small wheels could use a bit of grease/Teflon. They are squeaky.
I might do that thing I've seen others do and put those ball bearing roller under them to make positioning them easier.
Ultimately, these are great but a pain in the ass. Sometimes jacks are still better and faster but anytime the car is lifted on these, it's always sooo much easier to work on.

The fail in that YouTube was definitely operator error. When lifting, you're supposed to lift until both sides latch after the lock position. You can hear and see it happen. In his case, he let off the "up" button after only one side locked. You can see the weight of the vehicle push the hydraulic fluid from the locked side to the unlocked side. To make matters worse, he lifted it some more and stopped, which allowed it to do it some more.
