How does this work with a MBP? Does the fonts look too small? Or should I stick to my 27" 1440p?
Deal is dead, but 27" 4K is totally fine in macOS as scaling allows you to pick whatever resolution equivalent you want and the DPI is high enough that this will look sharp whatever you pick (whether is 2:1 scaling or not). With macOS you can't even run 4K without scaling without 3rd party utilities to enable it, so you won't have small fonts unless you go out of your way to make it happen.
What could make text look less sharp is matte coating vs the glossy coating on Apple's displays.
Purchased and returned due to the poor quality of the display. Couldn't believe that this is IPS. The viewing angles are very poor. Plus, the lighting technology is also bad quality with uneven lighting and visible banding.
And I thought 400 nits would be sufficient after looking at my family's Macbook Air M1 but it doesn't feel bright at all. Attachment 14474539
