DSEE technology looks at the mp3/aac/bt sbc codec crap sent, then uses data from thousands of hours of music to recreate and add missing sound information (that's lost transmitting over Bluetooth using mp3/aac/sbc).
So, it does have this plus versus other cheap earbuds.
(The other way around fm quality music over bt is a ldac compatible earbud with an Android phone that can send music over bt ldac for the highest quality possible. Much better than sbc/aac/mp3. Sony's top noise cancelling wf-1000xm5 earbud is an example.)
But that said, there's a good reason Jlab has the USA market lead in the sub-$100 market over Sony. They can make a Jlab Go Pop sound pretty darn nice for the price, which is often cheaper than Sony.
That said, build on the Jlab is crappier, breaks faster. And the wf-c500 I gifted sounds very nice says my friend.

Yep, pretty much, it's marked as an early access item, regardless of how many of these there are for sale when it goes live, I doubt there would be any left for regular customers, but hey! I hope I'm wrong 'cause I want a pair of these.

I got these awhile ago refurbished on eBay for around the same price. The sound is pretty good and I like how they fit. They do feel premium and well built. They also keep outside noise to a minimum, even though they don't have noise cancellation. I really only use them for a couple hours at a time, every few days or so, but the battery lasts without charging for at least a week.
They are a bit difficult to take out of the case and sound isn't really full, but all in all not bad for this price.

Jlab is trash. Anytime you use Jlab to compare, the other item wins.
I have these... Decent for listening to things, but people will bite be able to hear you even got speak. I bought them because they were inexpensive and I was tired of losing or breaking my expensive ones. Somehow all my cheap ones always survive yet the good ones end up gone .
I guess they're worth $30, but again trust me.. people will complain when you speak. And if you use only one earbud at a time, they really will not be able to hear you.
I have these and love them. Got them refurbished from eBay for the same price. Looked brand new but with no box. No complaints at all. Good sound and holds a charge. Here's the eBay link but out of stock at the moment. Plus the eBay refurbs come with free 2 year warranty. Definitely recommend for this price.

Doesn't seem they'd be much better than some random earbuds off Amazon
