I've been a professional chef for more than 22 years and I love this knives since I discovered them 20 years ago, I recommend them to everyone I know, excellent knives and excellent value and this offer is as good as it gets on this ones, I purchased them more times that I can count.

I got the 4" paring knife pre-pandemic for like $20. It worked great, stays sharp for a long time, and I recently just sharpened it after all these years. The other knives in set seem usable and should be similar. It'll be worth it if you plan to use all the knives. Yup lifetime warranty according to this link.

Are these knives a valuable upgrade from the classic victorinox chef knife or about even playing ground?

Mine is getting a bit long in tooth and I can never quite hold a sharp edge on it for long.

The 4 star have been great. I for a 5 pc set with self sharpening block about a year ago for 85 and they've been amazing. The 8pcs seems like a decent deal.

Bought the eight-piece set for P2 from BBB a few years back for $200 + 20% off. Easily the most used and appreciated gift I've ever gotten her. Excellent quality knives. Very ergonomic. Still haven't needed to get them sharpened.

Actually, it looks like it's on BBB for the same price now too [bedbathandbeyond.com]. Not sure if a 20% coupon would stack there to make it $180.

got the chefs knife a few years ago in a Bon Ton sale (remember them?). It's basically the only knife I've used in 6 years. Excellent knife, at $50, grab it!

I think this is a great deal in and of itself but you can also get an additional 15% off if you sign up for their newsletter. $170 for the block set after 15% off is a great deal.
