Hardly seems worth it when you can just buy a Fire TV Stick 4K Max for $35.
Damn..nice to see so many 85" TVs to drop below 1000
The 120hz 85" lg at Costco starting next week for $100 more is a better deal, no? This seems similar to the hisense for $750 spec wise. Waiting for the slickdeals TV experts to weigh in...

I wonder if this would be a good replacement for my 2 year old Sony 850 series 85" TV. The old tv works great, and picture is good enough, but the built-in prime video app is not working (Well it sort of works... But takes 3-5 minutes to load anything. Basically unusable). Prime still works fine on my other 75" LG built in app.

I recently got a Sony X85K open box for $870 plus taxes. It works well - still within the return window in case I need to turn it in. But I don't want to be frivolous with returns as it has a real cost.
How does this Samsung TV compare with the X85K from Sony in terms of video quality? I care less about the OS as I use an apple tv.

Looking at rtings comparison the x85k is better at pretty much everything https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/c...shold=0.10

The picture quality should be significantly better on the Sony. Depending on what size you got, that is a good deal. I am considering getting a 75" from the BX for about $1100. An upper midrange Qled TV from Samsung would be comparable to your Sony. This model is the highest end model in the lowest tier.
