I have this model currently. Recommend paying the $6 for the in-store warranty. Not sure if just this model, or my luck but I've gone through two of these in about 2-3yrs. We make about 2-4 pods/day for reference.

Decent model for the price. Keurig doesn't make the best coffee but it gets the job done! Thought it was worth the full price so definitely a pretty good deal.

They stopped doing that 5 or 6 years ago, after the Keurig 2.0 model I believe. So you're free to go generic!

If you're in the market for a Keurig, I'd recommend going with a machine that has their "multistream technology" - either the K-Supreme or K-Supreme Plus Smart. Instead of the single puncture the k-cup gets on most previous machines, the multistream units make 5 punctures to better saturate the grounds. It's a noticeable taste improvement, in my opinion. I'm a big coffee drinker and have all types of machines and yes, this is not the best cup of coffee you'll ever drink, but the multistream definitely improved the taste of any kind-cup I've used compared to previous Keurig machines I've owned.

I'm sure more devout coffee enthusiasts will still throw their nose up in the air over any Keurig, but for someone specifically in the market for a Keurig, I'd definitely recommend one of these two brewers.

I tried this one years ago. It just tasted like plastic, because of the cheap construction. A better coffee maker, in my experience, if the Mainstays Single Serve Coffee maker, which is horrible for ground coffee, but excellent for K-cups, because it's simple, you can put up to 16 oz of water, I think, and it has a strong coffee button, so you get more, better coffee out of it. I've had several, and they've always been $20 at Walmart, so you don't need to wait for a sale or be sad if it breaks down.

Bought one of these, last year, for work. Tends to "spit", at the end of the cycle, if your cup doesn't come right up under the area holding the pod.

A scrap piece of 2x4 worked great, to minimize the mess. Wink
