Take a look at the website - rtings.com. They do a ton of TV testing and break everything down in easier to understand teams and have a bunch of tools to help narrow the search. I don't think this Hisense is any good.

Understand that I'm an old guy & know next to nothing about the fancy TV sets these days. I grew up in the '50s when all TVs were plagued with horizontal & vertical roll, with adjustment knobs accordingly, and the largest I recall was 21" and seemingly weighed a ton. This appears to be a real SD. Repped.

I bought a 65 inch from Walmart a few months ago. Delivered perfectly fine. The package was well secured in styrofoam from the manufacturer. Ymmv

If something arrives damaged, why would it be the company or individuals fault over the shipper if the package is still in factory packaging?
I don't think it's anyone's fault. I just have first hand knowledge how some people deal with pallets and items from distribution centers because in my teens I saw what people do. Some people might just stack pallets sloppy or throw items into the truck bc they don't care or bc they want a bonus for loading up things quicker. I remember loading up video games and laundry detergent and moving pallets of boxes that were completely destroyed. One time it was the latest nba 2k game a few days before its release it just fell out of a busted up box laying on the floor of a semi truck. Did the thought cross my mind to snatch it lol yes did I ..I didn't.

Quantum computers will never be a consumer product. By the nature of how they work, it's physically impossible for them to be useful for the tasks we use them for. They're incredible for cryptography and probability calculations, but it's physically impossible for them to be faster than classical computers for the tasks the vast majority of people use them for. For those tasks, a quantum computer would need to run a simulation of a classical computer to perform it, and simulations will always be slower than the real thing. They're revolutionary, but not for what you think they are
Never said anything about them being a consumer product, but they have the potential to have a significant impact on our everyday lives. As far as simulations go, I think you're forgetting about the limits physics tend to place upon things, some of which may not apply to quantum computers (although I'll admit I'm past my limited understanding of how they work here, so could easily be wrong - feel free to educate me if you know better).

Hey guys, wanting to buy a new TV this BF. Was thinking the Hisense U7k 75 $899 costco deal but just saw this for half the price. Obviously not as nice as the U7k but hard to beat for the price? Is the U7K worth twice as much?

This is a solid TV. Their new 2023 line have 60hz refresh rates but a "Motion Rate" of at least 120. So it performs better than any of the other TVs at the 60hz range (from a motion standpoint).. No glares or delayed images basically. This has all the best image feature at the entry level 4K point as-well. If you snag one should be 10/10 for ya ๐Ÿ‘.

If you're wanting something capable of 120hz, mini-led with a decent amount of local dimming zones so much blooming and blacks are much better, and a much brighter tv because you're going to be watching it in a well lit room then yes the u7k is worth the double price tag.

I originally planned on waiting a year to get next years u8 for the game room I'm adding into my basement right now but decided to go with this because my basement room has one window that will be blacked out and the only gaming I'll be doing on it will just be some single player games. But also this Reno is costing much more than planned and my cash is disappearing and I don't want to use my spare 50" down there for the best year so I'm going to roll with this tv for 2/3 years before getting a u8

Not sure why this is downvoted. This exact thing happened to me. It was a pain to bring the tv back for return.
Doesn't the freight company dispatched by Walmart pick up the return?

Hisense website has the incorrect info listed for the 75" R6. The dimensions and weight are for the 65".

The 5 series is significantly better. This tv is about on par with the entry level 4 series tcl

It doesn't that's just a gimmick .. every 60hz tv will have that motion rate of whatever they decide they want it to be.
