Take a look at the website - rtings.com. They do a ton of TV testing and break everything down in easier to understand teams and have a bunch of tools to help narrow the search. I don't think this Hisense is any good.

Understand that I'm an old guy & know next to nothing about the fancy TV sets these days. I grew up in the '50s when all TVs were plagued with horizontal & vertical roll, with adjustment knobs accordingly, and the largest I recall was 21" and seemingly weighed a ton. This appears to be a real SD. Repped.

I bought a 65 inch from Walmart a few months ago. Delivered perfectly fine. The package was well secured in styrofoam from the manufacturer. Ymmv

Mine was delivered today. Here's something that took me way too long to figure out: under Settings there's a section called TV Inputs that lists each of the HDMI ports. For each port there is an option for HDMI Mode. I had the setting for my Xbox Series X set to Auto (recommended) and I guess it defaulted to the Compatibility mode because the HDR/Dolby Vision and auto Game Mode settings were all disabled and the Xbox said they weren't supported by the TV. After I changed the HDMI mode to Standard they were all working again. Not sure why the recommended Auto mode would default to worse settings but oh well.
How's the picture? Could you run some dark scene videos in a dark room as well?

Did anyone get free shipping. I'm seeing $49 on checkout
I see $49 freight shipping cost too.

I thought the thread title said "free shipping".

With the $49 freight, I don't even know if the Walmart Plus will cover free shipping for this one. Can anyone with existing Walmart Plus help confirm?

Be careful if Walmart is far from you. They ship broken shattered TVs. I bought a TV from them two years ago and the screen was completely shattered. I was forced to drive a huge distance with this big ass TV and haul it to the register. Then they all looked at me like I was the one that broke it. Very insulting.

Great deal. Just remember to add 5 year warranty. Never know
Extended warranties are for suckers. I've been offered these for 30 years, and I've never bought a single one. Over that time, I've probably paid for three repairs out of pocket and saved thousands and thousands of dollars by refusing these ridiculous warranties.

I guess they are not offering free delivery from the store anymore. Might be saving those for in-store buyers tomorrow.

I saw that too earlier today but it changed to free shipping this evening. I think that shipping fee showed up temporarily as they keep updating the inventory.

Can you watch some dark scenes in a dark and light room and let us know how those look?

I wish it were Android TV instead.
Google TV is the worst platform ever and they should be ashamed of themselves. Every update they put out makes it worse. My all time favorite is when navigating the platform and how there's a 3-5 second delay to scroll to the next option. Complete garbage. Roku here I come.

I just got mine in and have not unboxed it yet I'm waiting on a friend to help me. It was delivered this morning from my local Walmart in a small SUV. The girl had two 75-in TVs in the back of her car laying on their side. I will post back after I hooked it up and checked for damage.

Well I got it set up and to be honest I'm pretty happy with it. I believe it is edge lit but it doesn't look as bad as my 2021 Hisense which is also edge lit. The TV is set up in my bedroom which is kind of bright with a couple windows but the brightness of the TV isn't terrible but it's definitely not super bright either. Overall I'm pretty happy with it for $400
same here.. single guy in a ford explorer. I had to help him unload it.

Sound is surprisingly good. We got this TV as a replacement for a 65" for our small town bar that the picture turned purple and was hard to watch sports games. The image is great, the lighting is great. The blacks aren't as great as a more expensive TV but that's the only obvious thing, but even with that, it looks way better than what a $400 TV should look like.

I would def get this TV for my house if I needed one on a budget.
